This year’s 8th annual FinTech Conference will focus on the challenges and opportunities in this vibrant sector. Venture capital and corporate investments in FinTech ventures have increased dramatically over the past several years. At the conference, industry leaders will discuss the trends and disruptions facing tech and business leaders in this sector.

One of FinTech’s most successful entrepreneurs is this year’s keynote. Dee Choubey, Founder and CEO of MoneyLion, will kickoff the afternoon.

Dee Choubey

Founder & CEO, MoneyLion

Dee Choubey is the Founder and CEO of MoneyLion, the award-winning Mobile Banking Experience, which is incentivizing millions of Americans to save, earn and invest. Mr. Choubey has spent the better part of the fintech revolution understanding and leading change by building products and teams with the sole mission of making powerful financial tools accessible to all consumers who are looking for a way to reach their life goals. Prior to founding MoneyLion in 2013, Mr. Choubey began his career as an investment banker at leading Wall Street firms including Goldman Sachs, Citadel and Barclays Capital.

Dennis Carlson

Chief Risk Officer

Starting in February, Dennis Carlson will be Chief Risk Officer of Credibility Capital. He is currently a senior member of the credit team at Verizon, responsible for the origination of more than 20 million loans to consumers and small businesses annually. Previously, he served as Deputy Chief Economist at Equifax. He also led several data science and modeling teams at both First Data and American Express. He graduated valedictorian from the University of Florida with a B.S. in Mathematics and Statistics and studied post-grad at Cornell University.

Jennifer Lee

Vice President, Edison Partners

Jennifer is a Vice President at Edison Partners focusing on the firm's fintech investments, most recently including YieldStreet, Bipsync, MoneyLion, and Bento for Business. In August, she was recognized as a finalist for Finovate’s Fintech Woman of the Year in 2019; she was also named to WSJ Pro Private Equity’s Women to Watch list in 2018. Prior to joining Edison, she was at Commerzbank evaluating select European equities for fundamental long/short investments. During her MBA, she oversaw VC investment prospects and strategic business development opportunities at the Associated Press. Jennifer started her career at ForgeRock, a global leader in identity and access management with a unique history stemming from Sun Microsystems, as the first sales executive of the company. She closed deals across all geographies and industries while building the company from its first year through Series A-C ($52M total; total funding raised is $140M including pre-IPO Series D). Throughout her tenure, revenue grew over 100%-400%+ YoY. Jennifer holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA in Economics from Johns Hopkins University.
